According to foreign media reports, the European Space Agency's Mars Express probe found traces of liquid water flowing in the desert here while scanning and exploring the surface of Mars. There may have been muddy lakes near the craters south of the Martian equator in ancient times. If we can drill this area in depth, we may find traces of Martian life.

Scientists have discovered many ancient events on Mars according to images sent back by the Mars Express probe. These evidences all suggest that Mars once had a humid environment. Even after hundreds of millions of years of evolution and erosion, those traces will still be "exposed" in the high-resolution photos of the probe.
