Google (GOOG) can choose its own search results - the notepad of half a basket of pears outside the window

These two days when I was searching www.google.com, I found a small arrow next to the search results. I didn't pay attention to it at first. Today, I clicked on it out of curiosity and found that there was another mystery. It turns out that google allows users to freely choose to put search results at the top of the home page. I think that's a really great step forward. Sometimes even better than favorites or bookmarks. So far I've only found it on igoogle, but not on Google China (www.google.cn).
