Google launches blog search?

Seeing the launch of Google's Chinese blog search, I happily took a look because for a while, one of my articles from yesterday appeared on the first page, bringing in quite a few visitors.

It seems that Google has set up some topics, and when Blog posts matching these topics are published and indexed by Google, they will appear on this blog search page. The ranking is not entirely based on time but also on the weight of the Blog, as I noticed that some articles posted just a few hours ago were ranked after articles that had been posted for over a day.
